This is a study in the existential angst of knowing that one's time has forever passed.

I took a long walk from home down to the harbourfront and back. These are the photos I took along the way.

A series of three drawings based around the the theme of "space" or "public space".

For the first time in eight years (where does the time go??) I visited St. Andrews, New Brunswick, where my grandparents live. It's a beautiful seaside resort town on the Passamaquoddy Bay.

Upon my triumphant return to Canada I lived with my family in London (Ontario) for a while. There was more snow than I could imagine.

My very last day in Tokyo. In-between bouts of packing I went to the nearby Shrine of Literature to visit their plum blossom festival. The plum blossoms were just blooming a year before when I had arrived.

Not quite my last night in Japan, but the last night I took photos. I went with Doug, a coworker, to Kabuki-cho in Shinjuku and we went exploring.

I decided to document my erstwhile home in Japan before I had to leave. A few other photos are thrown in at the end for good measure.

The fourth batch of photos from my mom's visit. We finished with a daytrip to Nikko, famous mountain tourist spot and home of Tokugawa Ieyasu (the first Tokugawa shogun)'s tomb.

The third batch of photos from my mom's visit. Near the end of her trip we were lucky enough to attend a one-day sumo tournament in Ryogoku, just across the Sumida river from our home base in Asakusa. It was another highlight of my stay.
